In April, we showed you that many of his colleagues proclaim Trump is God. Turns out, he believes it too.
It’s not enough just to be the lowly president. So OTDI 2019, while discussing one of his policies, Trump pointed to the heavens, and proclaimed “somebody had to do it!” He added “I am the Chosen One.”
Then, after the ridicule poured in, he backtracked, tweeting that he was “kidding” and “being sarcastic.” But maybe he wasn’t kidding, because on another occasion he declared: “I don’t kid. Let me just tell you. Let me make it clear.”
Regardless of what he says, his Exec VP for 16 years in the Trump Organization, observes that he is “a supreme sexist…abusive…He started thinking that he walked on water. I don’t think there’s a person alive he respects because he thinks he’s God.”
Btw: Unfortunately, in 2024, he and his campaign have spiraled ever downward. He has continued to spread the gospel that “God gave us Trump,” retweeting this absurd video and playing it at his rallies.
