"Pure Evil": Trump Administration siphons funds away from 9/11 firefighter program

How could they do this? OTDI 2020, the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks -- perhaps the most solemn day on American calendars in the 21st Century -- thousands of New York City firefighters and first responders spent their day processing this news: Over the years, the Trump Administration had secretly siphoned off millions of dollars from the program that treats FDNY firefighters and medics suffering from 9/11 illnesses.
Trump’s Treasury Department confirmed the funds diversion. They didn't admit to breaking any law, but they claimed they acted because of “delinquent debt” owed by New York City.
“Pure evil,” tweeted Dr. Dena Grayson, a medical expert who specializes in Ebola and other viruses.
“TRUMP DOESN'T ONLY HATE VETERANS, HE HATES FIRST RESPONDER HEROES,” noted actress Debra Messing.
