A photo of Trump’s staffers went viral OTDI 2018 due to the group’s stunning…lack of diversity. Especially compared to Obama’s and Biden's interns. Trump's bigotry is right there for all to see...in black and white.
The imbalance persisted throughout the Trump years. As the all-time-great American track-and-field champion Carl Lewis put it about the 2020 comparison, check it out with “your lying eyes.”
Mike Pence played along with his boss: His Fall 2017 intern class had literally zero people of color.
Not surprisingly, Joe Biden, of course, hired a group which is more reflective of the country he leads:
